Another New York Fashion week has come and gone and it has me looking towards the Spring with enough hope and excitement that it's easy to forget how bummed I am for not having attended. Social media and the internet allowed me to walk that fine line between feeling included and suffering through major FOMO as I aggressively scrolled through an endless barrage of pictures and video from the creme de la creme of fashion's taste makers. I'm already spotting my go-to color for next year: Blue (and lot's of it).
It looks like every designer I love had a little bit of that primary color in their collections--from the Willie Nelson inspired country chic of Mara Hoffman's cloudy frocks, to the accented pops of blue in Nanette Lepore's tongue-and-cheek nod to 60s GoGo dancers with a 21st century twist. I was really feeling the minimalist vibes of Wendy Nichol's monotone collection that I look forward to seeing emulated on all my favorite fashion blogs (I'm already trying to figure out where I can score a "Pharrell" hat in chalky grey for myself). I was really impressed by the fabulous comeback of John, bringing his signature drama to Margiela and really shaking up the houses signature back-to-basics aesthetic, and of course, my fave, Alexander Wang kept it true to form with looks that blended athleticism with high-end demure. I've rounded up some of my favorite looks I scoped out during my all-day sessions of live-streaming.

*included four looks because I HAD to throw in megababe Beth fucking Ditto!
