Some days, it's really hard to get out of bed. I feel lazy and lethargic and rundown and unmotivated to do anything except sleep for 12+ hours. Of course, it's always those mopey, hazy days when I have to do EVERYTHING; so I dress for comfort instead of functionality. That is to say, I dress in clothing that would be optimal should I find a corner of the universe where I can just decompress and take a nap. That's why I'm so thankful for the brand J.O.A and this super comfy and chic oversized knit coat! It feels like a blanket, it's warm, but light enough to wear on days like today when it's chilly in the early hours and warmer in the afternoon. This brand's whole philosophy is about creating couture inspired luxury items that don't break the bank and they succeed with each article. There is nothing more deliciously luxurious than a jacket you can take a nap in; being swaddled in wool has never felt so good!
Some days, it's really hard to get dressed; it's really hard to want to get dressed when you can stay in bed and wallow in laziness or sadness or sleep. Of course, it's always on these days that it is most important that you actually do something. There is something fantastically liberating about putting on a cute (and remarkably comfy) outfit and looking good and feeling good. Even, when it feels like the world is ending, you'll feel good enough about yourself to be certain that it isn't.
